Privacy policy

We're a small bakery, and we only ask for what we need to make and deliver your cookies. Here's what that is and how we handle it.

June Wagon Cookies is a registered trade name. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean the business that operates under that name, including its owner.

What we collect

What you tell us about your order: your name, email, phone number, company, event date, occasion, quantity, style, how you'd like to receive your cookies, and any message you send. You share this through our order form, by email, text, phone or Instagram.
Delivery details: the address for local delivery or shipping, when you need one.
Artwork you send: logos, invitations, photos and other files for your design.
Your proof responses: when you review your design online, we keep your approvals, comments and the name you type to sign off.
Payment information: payments are handled by Stripe. Your card or bank details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them. Stripe tells us the amount, the date and whether the payment went through, along with the billing details you give it (such as name, email and ZIP code).
Basic technical information: like most websites, our hosting providers receive the information your browser sends (such as your IP address and browser type), used for security and to keep the site working. We may use privacy-friendly website analytics that count visits without cookies or tracking you across sites.

How we use it

To answer your questions, quote and design your order, and send you your proof.
To take payments, send invoices and receipts, and keep our business and tax records.
To bake, package, deliver or ship your order.
To make your next order easier: we keep your details so you don't have to start over.

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who helps us

We use a few trusted services to run the business. Each one gets only what it needs for its job:

Stripe processes payments and invoices.
Cloudflare, Railway and Supabase host our website, order system and files.
Resend sends our emails, like the note confirming we got your request.
Design tools: to create the realistic renderings in your proof, your order description and artwork may be processed by AI design services (such as OpenAI and Anthropic). They process it to produce your design; they aren't permitted to use it to train their models.
Shipping carriers (such as UPS) receive the name, address and phone number on your package.
Google Fonts provides the lettering on our website, so your browser loads it from Google.

We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

Photos of our work

We love sharing the cookies we make, so photos of our work (including event photos) may show your design or logo. If you'd like us to remove anything of yours from our website, just ask and we'll take it down. You can also tell us ahead of time if you'd rather we didn't share photos of your order.

How long we keep it

We keep order details and artwork so we can help with repeat orders, and we keep payment records as long as tax and accounting rules require. Ask us at any time to delete your contact details; we'll remove them, keeping only what we need for our financial records.

Your choices

Ask what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
Ask us not to share photos of your order, or to remove anything of yours from our website.
Reply to any of our emails or contact us below. We'll get back to you promptly.

Keeping it safe

Our order system is private and limited to our team. Your proof link is private and expires, and payment details stay with Stripe. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share with us.

Children

Our website is meant for adults placing orders. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date at the top.
